7 Year Anniversary Recap

Holding your artist meetup birthday in January is always a gamble. Especially with how the weather is here in Nova Scotia. Yet, so many lovelies braved the rain and wind to celebrate seven years of creative hangouts.

Cozied up in the front area of our home, The Foggy Goggle Pub, a variety of people came together to mingle. Designers, photographers, illustrators, video editors, wood workers, you name it… an industry was represented.

Two prizes were up for grabs as well – the ever-useful $25 Deserres gift card, and a thoughtful second price: a mug that says “Coffee makes me poop”, complete with ceramic… uh… ‘gift’ in the center of it.

As always, steering wants to thank everyone who came out to share their well wishes to E3C’s ability to make it as a small and scrappy artist meetup. We were so glad to see some faces from meetups past, as well as new ones who were either new to the city, or just finally managed to get down to a meetup.

You can view the rest of 2019’s event listing to make sure you’re a part of this 7 Year Itch. We plan to grow as a meetup this year, and the anniversary party was certainly the perfect way to get started.

Many thanks to Crystal de Passillé-Chabot for photography of the evening.
